This editorial introduces the supplement published in December 2025 to celebrate Sightsavers’ 75th anniversary, in collaboration with the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (RSTMH). It links Sightsavers’ history to its current work in implementation research on eye health, inclusive education, social inclusion and neglected tropical diseases (NTDs).
