The Ascend programme, focused on combating neglected tropical diseases (NTDs), underwent a rapid adaptation to support COVID-19 responses in 11 countries. We partnered with leading creative agency, M&C Saatchi World Services, who had the commercial expertise to facilitate the design of engaging communications, introducing key principles based on proven strategies.
A learning action review was undertaken to examine the inclusivity and accessibility of the social behaviour change (SBC) campaign, through key informant interviews. Findings have been summarised in the learning paper, including a set of recommendations to help inform future SBC programmes.
